Longyuan Temple is the center of local beliefs in Longtan, dedicated to honoring the wisdom of Shennong, the agricultural deity, and seeking bountiful harvests. Inspired by the majestic and dignified image of Shennong Emperor, the artwork features an exquisite main lantern in the form of a divine dragon head, symbolizing nobility and sanctity. Surrounding the main lantern are 200 smaller dragon lanterns co-created with the temple's devotees. These lanterns not only represent the abundance of blessings in the local community but also echo the upcoming grand celebration of Longyuan Temple's 200th anniversary.
