A group of well-trained gentlemen actors runs a joyous food truck, carrying dreams and happiness. They present a series of meticulously crafted performances, circus acts, and juggling routines, refined through countless rehearsals, leaving the audience with unforgettable memories. Whenever someone needs them, the FOCA Joyful Food Truck appears, spreading happiness and love!
FOCA
FOCA was established in 2011, proudly named after Taiwan, the beautiful Formosa Island. It aims to create diverse contemporary circus art in Taiwan by combining traditional culture, local culture, street culture, and theatrical arts. FOCA integrates various performance styles to develop a unique and expressive physical vocabulary.
The team members of FOCA come from different performing disciplines, including acrobatics, juggling, street dance, contemporary dance, martial arts, and theater. It is the only contemporary circus troupe in Taiwan with over 20 full-time members. Since 2017, FOCA has been the only circus troupe continuously receiving annual funding from the Taiwanese government.
