Guard the Land

Guard the Land

Taoyuan is an important production area of fruits, such as peaches in the Lalashan Mountain. The branches of fruit trees trimmed down by farmers and wood boards from old houses in the military dependants' villages are granted with new lives by artist MooZ. With his ingenuity and superb skills, those seemingly useless materials are transformed into art works. This work features an eagle commonly seen in Taiwan as well as eggs that symbolize the birth of new lives, implying that eagles are indicators of environmental protection and need to be conserved and protected.
