Flow of the Ecology

Flow of the Ecology

This work remodels the existing 18 benches in the First Riverside Park. The wave-shapes benches, full of dynamic, are painted in blue to symbolize the nearby Nankan River and ecological corridor. During the preparation for this work, the artist found that other than the native species, a lot of foreign species also live in the Nankan River area. Therefore, labels on local species, such as fish, birds and plants, will be added to the benches to deliver the concept of preservation of species. Meanwhile, this work also invites local students to participate in the creation so that they will better understand the species in their neighborhood and pay more attention to the land where they live.

Material:Lacquer, Acrylic Paint
