Abandoned railways are transformed into leisure corridors, like a Milky Way to connect various plant-like communities, to build a new type of living networks. An elegant giant human face symbolizes the extension of human thinking, reaching different worlds via different tracks where new visions replace the old ones. The decorations on the human head represent children's dreams and creativities, which still keep the innocent ideals in the reality of historical and scientific and technological development.

CHEN YEn-Min

臺灣 Taiwan

CHEN Yen-Min, a well-known middle-aged artist in Taiwan, established the "Food Stock Art Group" jointly with a group of artists in 2005 to re-discover the enthusiasm for painting and pursuing arts back in schools. For a long time, he has been concerned about the social issues in Taiwan and is the incumbent president of "Fishsnipers," an important art group in Taiwan.
CHEN is concerned about the historical and cultural context and environmental issues in Kaohsiung for a long time. In addition to the style of magic realism, his works also reveal strong social concerns, thereby establishing a unique key tone, which features both wilderness and subtlety.
