Post Along the Railway Corridor

Post Along the Railway Corridor

The revitalized corridor along the Taolin Railway exceeds 10 kilometers. Making good use of this space will create more space for local residents to relax and enhance the resident-friendly and people-centered intention. This work builds a tunnel-like structure with bamboos, where parents and children can adventure together. In addition, lighted-up sky lanterns woven by residents in local communities further demonstrate romantic wishes for the New Year. Passing the tunnels, you'll bring home with you plenty of blessings.

CHUANG CHUNG-LIN

Taiwan

Inspired by his childhood experience, where all the toys and household utilities were handmade with materials at hand, CHUANG Chung-Lin continues the handmade practice to this day. Even when science and technology advance and most of the utilities are made of plastic, he still uses the weaving skills learned from the seniors to create weaving products with recycled materials to pass on the handcraft that is almost lost on the one hand and to be environmental-friendly as much as possible on the other.
