Rhombus Wind Pavilion
Rhombus Wind Pavilion
Longtan Lake was nicknamed "Lingtan Reservoir" in ancient times because the surface of the pond was covered with wild water chestnuts. In Chinese, “Ling” means water chestnuts. The Pavilion " adopts the concept of rhombus, utilizing bamboo and relative materials to construct a 3D diamond-shaped roof. The fishnet-like roof is made of cotton threads, and circular acrylic mirrors are fixed on the weave knots. The mirrors show wishes written by the students who participated in this design and sightseeing instructions given by the local Longtan residents.
